Toasted Bird Seed
Avoid the nuisance of sprouted bird seed that's spilled out of its container. Bake it on a cookie sheet in a 300-degree oven for five minutes before placing in the container for the birds to enjoy. The heat will sterilize the seed without lessening its nutritive value.
